One of those lovely old structures, saved by having business and offices in it now. It was originally the Saratoga Spgs. Hospital. Now it houses offices and a gown shop. The display window of which, can be seen in front.

I love this building, which faces on Franklin Square. Which {Square} has numerous large old houses/buildings around it. A beautiful spot in our city.

I love it that the gown shop does tasteful displays. Always 3 gorgeous gowns in this display window. {There seems to be a sign, in the middle gown spot, at the present} Beautiful, tasteful, lovely, classic, fantastic gowns! :-) And I expect it to remain there, since it's been there for a long time, now.

Other tenants are probably offices. Which is fine, also. All I care about is the appearance, from the street. And that the inside is maintained also.

Old store...

This is an old photo, of family drug store, hanging in store.

We are having lots of snow and now some wind. Had a slight power failure, a few minutes ago. If I'm still able to be on line, I'll be back with more snow pics, later. :-)

Some business listings...

As the sign says, these are listings of some businesses, on the West side of the main street. Traditionally, the East side has been more noticed. So ~~ This sign is on the East side, and at the main corner of the city. *Pointing* across the street. :-)

Thank you for kind comments, about my glasses. It will certainly be next week, before the part comes in the mail, and they can be fixed. It happened on the worst day... on Friday. Which is right before the weekend. :-( Oh well... Could be worse.

Need olives???

Back to Roma's. They have much yummy food, there. But these olives caught my eye. And they just "cried out" to be photographed. ,-)

When we got to the check-out, and I told the cashier that I took a picture and would put it on my blog... And gave her a slip of paper, with this blog URL on it, so she can look and see... Her eyes got very wide, at first. Granted, it does sound odd, to have this older woman and her granddaughter come in and say; "I put your produce in a blog, which can be read world wide." -gigggles- But she actually did know what a blog is! So, maybe, she is reading this.

This little guy seems to be holding a frog, and wondering what to do with it...

As I said, he's not my Gnome. But he's for sale. He could be somebody's Gnome. Do you think you would like him to be your Gnome? ,-)
