Still Halloween???

If you click on the photo, and enlarge it, you'll see that hanging decoration on the porch. It looks as if it is a Halloween decoration, to me. But isn't it a little late to still have this on a house? :-)

But then, it does seem to pick up the colors of the trim on this older home, quite well. Perhaps that is why they seem to leave it up, all year long. ,-)

Happy....

Happy Christmas Season to all who celebrate it.

I'm going to be honest here and admit, I can not be sure to put up a daily photo, for a few days. If it works out, I will. If not, I will not stress over it. And I hope this will be OK.

Florist And Antiques

A combination Florist and Antiques shop.
~~~~~~~~
Salty
, I tried cropping the angel more, as you 'wondered'. :-) But I'd need some sort of Photo-Shop-thing, to *mush-out* the not-fitting-stuff. But I don't like the Photo-Shop-thing. :-)
A tree in a tower...
Please look up at the lower part of the tower. See the window? See what is in it?
This is a closer look at the lower window in the tower.
Do you see the Christmas tree?
If you click on the photos, they will enlarge.
New, but neat door...
~~~~~~

New building, and new door way. Not the usual old architecture I usually show. But I love the look of these doors, all year round. And especially so, at Holiday Time.

A decorated house...

Please click on pic, for larger view

These are night shots of the house, with lots of Halloween decorations. Since Christmas ones have many, many little white lights around the yard, I can't capture them properly. So you will have to "just believe" that it's quite a magical display, at night in person.

Halloween

In this city, some people really do lots of decorating for Halloween! ^_^ Especially when they are lucky enough to own a big, old house. Which comes complete with ghost stories too!

Would you like to go "Trick or Treating" on Halloween, with me? I can show you how to get to this house. If you are brave enough to walk up the front steps and ring the door bell. ,-)

A typical view of Halloween. But I prefer the original view of Samhain. Which seems much nicer, to me.

Some Halloween decorations...

~~
The interesting thing about this place, with the cute decorations in the yard is...
that the house itself is said to be haunted. And these are not just 'old tales.'

Quite new tales of noises up in the attic... Which when investigated {by the police because the owner thought an intruder was in the house, when he returned home}, changed to noises down cellar. And of course, no one was in the attic.

And that's not the only story with is told....
More tomorrow... ,-)
